Il Southampton, secondo il The Sun, potrebbe cambiare portiere la prossima stagione: Fraser Forster ha diverse richieste e starebbe pensando ad una cessione, soprattutto in caso di retrocessione dei Saints. Ecco allora che Mark Hughes, tecnico del club inglese, avrebbe individuato in Kieren Westwood il perfetto sostituto del portiere inglese. Westwood è attualmente in forza allo Sheffield Wednesday in Championship, ma è ai box da 4 mesi per un infortunio all’inguine. L’estremo difensore irlandese, che ha giocato in Premier League con il Sunderland in passato, è alle strette con gli Owls e vorrebbe cambiare aria: oltre ai Saints, ci sono anche Leeds United e Celtic.
