Domani, alle ore 17.30 italiane, si sfideranno a Wembley il Tottenham del neo allenatore Ryan Mason ed il Manchester City di Pep Guardiola. In palio c’è la Carabao Cup, da tutti conosciuta anche con il vecchio nome di English Football League Cup, ovvero la Coppa di Lega. Una competizione che ha visto al via 92 partecipanti, tutte appartenenti alla Premier League ed alla EFL.
I Citizens sono alla ricerca della loro ottava coppa (e raggiungere così il Liverpool al primo posto), un trofeo a cui ormai i tifosi odierni si sono “abituati”, visto che nelle ultime 7 edizioni il City ha alzato al cielo per ben 5 volte la coppa. Gli Spurs non vincono dalla stagione 2007/08 e puntano dritti alla loro quinta vittoria.
